The New Year is upon us, which means the Premier League transfer window has opened until February 1st. 

By now, most of the managers know their team’s strengths and weaknesses and will be looking for reinforcements. Either to avoid the relegation battle or to push for a Champions League qualifying position.

Although teams like Chelsea and Man City have spent record fees in summer, like £72m on Karl Havertz from Leverkusen and £63m for Runen Dias. The Covid crisis has had a dramatic effect on some clubs finances and they might be tightening their belts in January. But don’t be surprised to see someone break the bank as they cling for Premier League survival.
